Firmware Update Manual Ver 1 1 for DLA RS55 This manual describes how to update the firmware for the DLA RS55 model CAUTION Do not unplug unit while firmware is being updated Please carry out the update in the order shown below 1 Install Software 2 Projector LAN Settings 3 Projector Software Update 1 Install Software First download the projector update software from the JVC website to your desktop on your computer This example uses the DLA X70R 1 Double click the downloaded file on the desktop This will start the installer 2 The dialog box shown on the right will appear ff Setup ILA FPJ Updater by LAN X70R Click the Next button Welcome to the ILA FPJ Updater by LAN X7OR Setup Wizard This will install IL4 FPJ Updater on your computer It is recommended that you close all other applications before continuing Click Next to continue or Cancel to exit Setup 3 The dialog box shown on the right will appear fie Setup ILA FPJ Updater by LAN X70R Click the Next button Information Please read the Following important information before continuing When you are ready to continue with Setup click Next This Firmware update improves the some Functions in the JVC D ILA projector Please make sure that you read the included instructions carefully before attempting to update the J C D IL4 projector Firmware You will be given the option to read the instructions at the end o2. click Mest IF you would like to select a different Folder click Browse Browse g Setup ILA FPJ Updater by LAN 770R Ready to Install Setup is now ready to begin installing IL4 FPI Updater by LAN XYOR on your computer Click Install to continue with the installation or click Back if you want to review or change any settings Destination location Program Files IL4 FPI Updater 2011_4F0R Start Menu Folder IL4 FPI s 70F Completing the ILA FPJ Updater by LAN X70R Setup Wizard Setup has Finished installing IL4 FPI Updater by LAN 70R on your computer The application may be launched by selecting the installed icons Click Finish bo exit Setup 2 Projector LAN Settings 1 Connect the projector to a PC with a LAN cable of o 2 Connect the power cord to the projector and turn on Trigger l Off Timer 3 Set Communication Terminal under the Function tab in the menu to LAN High Altitude Mode Communication Terminal LAN 4 Open Network item under the Function tab in the menu Network Remote Code Lamp Reset Exit z Operate Back MENU Select BACK 5 Projector Network Settings Set the DHCP Client to Off Elf gt Network Set the IP Address of projector to an address different from that of the PC DHCP Client Recommended No PC 192 168 0O 1 ayers Projector 192 168 O 2 Subnet Mask Default Gateway Set the Subnet Mask and Defaul
