Instead of a hookswitch and handset the telephone has a Press to start Press to stop button for initiation and termination of phone calls The Telephone may be programmed to automatically dial a single number of up to eleven 11 digits in length It may also be programmed to dial a preceding PBX or other access number The telephone provides visual indication of call progress by way of a changing color LED Manual volume control is also provided inside the telephone The microphone is muted during periods of dial tone eliminating the use of hand held dialers Incoming calls may be allowed or blocked depending on the programming Programming is accomplished via the DTMF keypad inside the housing CEECO 4 Communication Equipment amp Engineering Company PROPRIETARY ISSUE 4 0 CEECO 5 Communication Eguipment Engineering Company PROPRIETARY 3 0 ISSUE 4 0 PROGRAMMING NOTE It is recommended that you ground yourself to prevent ESD 3 1 32 3 3 3 4 3 5 3 6 damage to the PCB s Connect the phone to a working telephone line or a DTMF test set before programming Move the mini jumpers located on the CEECO SPK Printed Circuit Board to the ON position as depicted on the last page of this manual Press the CALL button and wait for dial tone before programming any digits Each location is accessed by dialing the 4 sign and a two digit code The valid program locations are 00 730 769 speed d
