3. damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle General terms and conditions Roadside assistance and recovery In the event that your vehicle is immobilised at home or elsewhere in the territory Porsche Assistance will arrange help for you as long as the vehicle is not already at an Authorised Porsche Service Centre Whenever practical we will always endeavour to arrange assistance by our trained service providers to resolve the problem on the spot but if the problem cannot be resolved at the roadside we will organise and pay for the towing of your vehicle to the nearest Authorised Porsche Service Centre Alternative transport In the event that your vehicle is towed to the nearest Authorised Porsche Service Centre by Porsche Assistance the driver and passengers shall be provided with one free taxi ride up to 50 km from the breakdown location in order to facilitate continuation of your journey Replacement car hire Provided that your vehicle has been towed to an Authorised Porsche Service Centre by Porsche Assistance after a breakdown if you are within 100 km of an Authorised Porsche Service Centre and repairs cannot be completed within the same day we will whenever possible organise and pay for a Chauffeur driven or replacement self drive mid size premium class car whilst your vehicle is being repaired up to a maximum period of 3 days You will be required to satisfy the terms and condi
4. recommended service intervals Force majeure Porsche Assistance shall not be liable for failure to provide the services under the terms of service set out in this document if such failure is caused or contributed to by acts of nature acts of a public enemy acts of governmental authority or any political sub division or any department or regulatory agency thereof or entity created thereby acts of terrorism orders of any court or arbitrary body acts of any person engaged in subversive activity or sabotage strikes embargoes delays due to any of the above causes or events beyond our reasonable control Benefit levels car hire During the course of assistance Porsche Assistance will make arrangements and pay for car hire as applicable within the terms of this policy If you request to upgrade the type of hire car arranged by Porsche Assistance you will be responsible for any difference in costs You will be required to pay these additional costs at the time of service Exceptions Porsche Assistance is intended to cover for emergency situations only Therefore Porsche Assistance will not cover the following problems you may encounter while driving your vehicle unless there is a real and discernible threat to your personal safety and the safety of others 1 Faulty fuel gauge 2 Speedometer is not working 3 Air conditioning is not working 4 When the passenger door s cannot be opened and there are no pas
5. windscreen wipers faulty but weather conditions are fair 25 Rear windscreen wiper faulty Whilst the services rendered under Porsche Assistance are intended to be at no cost to you we wish to clarify that we will not be responsible for the following 1 Loss or damage to any property carried in or on your vehicle Any expenses incurred without the prior authorisation of Porsche Assistance or not expressly provided for in this policy The cost of replacement parts The cost or repairs made to your vehicle Any costs resulting from participation in motor racing rallies speed or duration tests Any costs resulting from your vehicle not being kept in a roadworthy condition or not being serviced in accordance with the maintenance schedule provided in the Owner s Manual If in the opinion of Porsche Assistance we believe that a recurring fault is due to poor maintenance of your vehicle we reserve the right to request proof of servicing and to specify immediate towing to an Authorised Porsche Service Centre Any costs as a result of damage and or claims caused while the driver was operating the vehicle under influence of alcohol solvent abuse drugs or other illegal substances 10 11 Any costs as a result of your participation in a criminal act or offence Any consequential losses directly or indirectly from the immobilisation If as result of a road traffic accident or other incidents
